 Conventional thoughts and ideas of planning for retirement are no longer valid.  In today's world one has to care for themselves.  We know that many reaching those so called 'Golden' years which used to be dedicated to retirement are finding either they cannot afford to retire or they have no intention of retiring in a conventional manner.

Today, many seniors want to keep active and benefit for their long time service in their chosen careers.  Others want to do something completely new.  For many years the 'older' worker had a choice between McDonald's and Walmart.  That simply isn't all there is.
