Obviously, not everyone wants to be a food service clerk for a long period of time. This is why it is often considered to be a temporary job to people. Of course, a person would want to move on to a much better paying job that is more rewarding over time, but as a food service clerk that person can start earning money and learn all kinds of important things that can be especially useful for the future. It can make a person more responsible and professional, and it can even lead to being able to get a better position at another place in the future. This is what makes the temporary job of a food service clerk so important and valuable to society.
